For over a decade, the UMW Group has been successful in maintaining its position as the leading national automotive manufacturer through one of its most well-known, homegrown partners in Malaysia – Perodua. With a 38% equity stake in Perodua, our focus is to become a regional competitor within the local automotive industry and to break records through our two main subsidiaries.

The first, Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd, is the main marketing and distribution arm for motor vehicles and spare parts. The second, Perodua Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, focuses on the manufacturing and assembly of motor vehicles. Through the combined successes of these two subsidiaries and with their shared desire to be a world class automobile company renowned for its excellent quality and reliability, Perodua has expanded its reach to seven international shores (Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei, Fiji, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Mauritius).
