KUALA LUMPUR, 13 December 2023 – The UMW Group recorded strong automotive sales for November 2023 with the registration of 42,315 vehicles, 8% higher than the 39,034 units delivered in November 2022, as both UMW Toyota Motor (“UMWT”) and UMW’s associate company, Perodua continue to deliver their outstanding orders. Accordingly, the Group’s automotive sales increased by 16% to 396,820 units for the first eleven months of 2023, from the 341,390 units registered in the same period of 2022.
UMWT registered delivery of 10,263 units in November 2023, close to the 10,442 units delivered in November 2022. Year-to-date November 2023, UMWT registered 97,705 units, recording an 8% growth compared with the 90,595 units registered in the corresponding period of 2022. To further strengthen its order book, UMWT is offering special promotions for the purchase of selected Toyota models through its “Drive into the New Year with Toyota” campaign for December.
Perodua registered 32,052 units in November 2023, 12% higher compared with the 28,592 units delivered in November 2022, mainly due to the improving supply chain as well as enhancement of production and logistics. Year-to-date November 2023, Perodua’s sales surged to 299,115 units, 19% higher than the 250,795 units delivered in the same period of 2022. For the first eleven months of 2023, Perodua’s top selling models were the Bezza, followed by the Axia and Myvi.
The UMW Group is encouraged by the sustained strong sales registered by both UMWT and Perodua in November 2023. Year-to-date November 2023, both companies registered higher sales compared with the same period of 2022. The strong sales achieved was driven by the introduction of competitive and exciting new models as well as attractive sales promotions.

Sehubungan itu, jualan automotif Kumpulan meningkat sebanyak 16% kepada 396,820 unit bagi sebelas bulan pertama tahun 2023, berbanding 341,390 unit yang didaftarkan dalam tempoh yang sama tahun 2022.
UMWT mencatatkan jualan sebanyak 10,263 unit pada bulan November 2023, hampir kepada 10,442 unit yang dicatatkan pada bulan November tahun 2022. Setakat November 2023, UMWT mencatatkan jualan sebanyak 97,705 unit, merekodkan pertumbuhan sebanyak 8% berbanding 90,595 unit yang dicatatkan pada tahun 2023. Bagi mengukuhkan lagi buku pesanannya, UMWT menawarkan promosi istimewa untuk pembelian model Toyota terpilih melalui kempen "Drive into the New Year with Toyota" pada bulan Disember.
Perodua mencatatkan jualan sebanyak 32,052 unit pada bulan November 2023, 12% lebih tinggi berbanding 28,592 unit yang direkodkan pada bulan November tahun 2022, terutamanya didorong oleh rantaian bekalan yang bertambah baik serta peningkatan terhadap pengeluaran dan logistik. Setakat November 2023, jualan Perodua melonjak kepada 299,115 unit, 19% lebih tinggi daripada 250,795 unit yang didaftarkan dalam tempoh yang sama tahun 2022. Untuk sebelas bulan pertama tahun 2023, model terlaris Perodua ialah Bezza, diikuti oleh Axia dan Myvi.
Kumpulan UMW berbesar hati dengan jualan kukuh yang berterusan yang dicatatkan oleh kedua-dua UMWT dan Perodua pada bulan November 2023. Setakat November 2023, kedua-dua syarikat mendaftarkan jualan yang lebih tinggi berbanding tempoh yang sama tahun 2022. Jualan kukuh ini didorong oleh pengenalan model baharu yang kompetitif serta promosi jualan yang menarik.
