UMW welcomes unemployed and underemployed candidates to join the 'UMW – MySTEP Programme’ for 2023. As one of the Jamin Kerja initiative, the programme provides a short-term but full working experience for graduates.
PREREQUISITES
- Malaysian citizen
- Maximum age of 30 in 2023
- Underemployed or unemployed for at least 6 months since graduation
- Possess degree and diploma in field of:
- Business Admin/HR/Marketing/IT
- Communication
- Accounting and Finance
- Engineering in Mechanical, Electronic, Automotive, Manufacturing & Chemical
- Obtain a CGPA of 2.5 and above
- Willing to be attached to various subsidiaries within UMW Group
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
Duration: 6 months
- Soft Skill Training (2 weeks) : Classroom-based training focuses on the generic executive competencies through these classes:
- Business Communication
- High Impact Presentation
- Grooming & Business Etiquette
- Microsoft Dashboard
- Resume Writing & Interviewing Skill
- Entrepreneurship
- Knowing My Organization
- On the Job (OJT) Training (5.5 months) : Trainee are assigned to specific division and department in UMW Group to experience the working environment.
INTAKE

- Intake 2 – June 2023
- Intake 3 – September 2023
- Intake 4 – December 2023
