As part of UMW’s continued commitment towards sustainability and the care of the environment and local communities where we operate, we take pride in our corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. This commitment is made possible only by the support of our dedicated workforce, who selflessly dedicate their time and resources to be part of our community programmes. Our CSR activities are led by the UMW Community Champions, who continue to demonstrate an uncompromising pledge towards leaving a better impact and carbon footprint within the environment and surrounding communities.

Throughout the years, our champions have participated in numerous community outreach programmes involving orphaned children, the homeless community and underprivileged communities. These programmes were held during the festive months and became an avenue for both UMW Community Champions and the people they served to foster bonds of friendship and a sense of unity and harmony.
